If you first created your account via the mobile app, you can ignore this thread
Really excited to have our app released for both iOS and Android! As part of that release, we’re turning off the ability to use Raha via our web app, since keeping the website in sync with the mobile features is more work than we have bandwidth for given our small team.
Your website accounts used Google, Facebook, or Github as the signin method. However, our mobile apps use your mobile number to send you a passcode to login, as this is more secure and respectful of your privacy. Unfortunately, this means that you’ll have to go through a (simple, we hope!) migration process to associate your old account with your mobile number. If you visit https://web.raha.app and sign in with your old credentials, you should automatically be directed to a page that will ask you to do the following:
- Input your mobile number
- Enter the one-time passcode that you get texted
- Install the app and sign in using your mobile number!
If you have any questions or run into any issues during this process, please let us know below or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. As always, thank you so so much for being an early member of Raha and joining us on the journey towards a more equitable economy for the world!
